WHAT IS NOT RIGHT IS WRONG! THEN WHO IS RIGHT AND WHO IS WRONG?

My love for football has helped me to realize that what goes round comes round. This is because the favour one team enjoys during a match either through a dubious penalty awarded to them, scoring from an offside position or an unfair red card to an opponent always have a way of coming back to hunt the team that benefitted from such unfair officiating. But wait a minute! Have you ever seen a player refusing to celebrate a goal scored by his team mate because it was an offside goal? I have not seen such a player yet. Argentina is still celebrating Maradona for his HAND OF GOD GOAL in the 1986 world cup. Luis Suarez is an idol in Uruguay after he handled a goal bound effort against Ghana in 2010 world cup, Thierry Henry put smiles on the faces of French fans after he controlled the ball with his hand to assist his team score the winning goal against Scotland that helped France qualify for the 2010 world cup and Frank Lampard’s goal was disallowed against Germany in 2010 world cup- the controversy which surrounded that disallowed goal led to the introduction of goal line technology in football. Fans of the benefitting team usually celebrate while fans of the other team can only lament. In that situation do you blame the fans for benefitting from referee’s error or the referee who made the mistake? Mistake or human error is part of the game but there are ways of avoiding mistakes and making it look real. But there are some controversial people that always want to do things the other way round.

I have talked, read and also listened to lot of people including political analysts about the just concluded politicalparties primaries in Akwa Ibom State and in other state of the federation. Those that their friends, relatives, business associates, husbands and wives are benefitting from the just concluded party primaries in terms of nomination have described the process as the fairest, most credible and most transparent primaries they have ever seen while those whose preferred aspirants did not succeed are still lamenting that the process was not transparent and that it was a rape on democracy. Many people are in seven heavens that their friends, relatives, business associates, husbands and wives have been nominated by the different political parties to contest elections into different political offices in next month’s general elections and are even ready to do anything, I MEAN ANYTHING to make sure their candidate wins.
PLEASE I AM NOT AGAINST ANYONE’S HAPPYNESS BUT MY QUESTION TO SUPPORTERS OF THESE CANDIDATES ARE:
HAVE YOU TAKEN TIME TO ASSESS THE CREDIBILITY OF THE PROCESS IN WHICH YOUR CANDIDATE EMERGED?
IF THE SAME PROCESS FAILS HIM OR HER NEXT TIME WILL YOU BE DISAPPOINTED?
MAY THE GOOD LORD BLESS A GOOD MAN. AMEN
