HomeVida Short Script competition begins

Bola’s Dirge is an avant-garde short film about the struggle of a young woman through poverty and the circumstances that led her to make poor choices. It’s a different take on the typical story of the prostitute with the ‘heart of gold’, breaking the fourth wall and urging the audience to engage with the film’s central character- a troubled, troublesome and strong-willed young woman.

Bola’s Dirge won the Human Development Film Prize at the 2013 HomeVida Short Script Competition. Your winning script can also be produced into a short film.

Go to http://homevida.org/competitions/short-film-criteria to read up on the criteria and upload your script today!!!
Entries close June 22, 2015.
