According to a
report by GesellschaftfürKonsumforschung (GFK), the leading
authority for international market studies, the Infinix Hot sold more units
compared with other more established phone brands in the market in the month
under review.
The Infinix Hot,
which is running on android-powered operating system 4.4 kitkat, has the
following features;1.4GHz quad-core, dual sim, 5.0 inches touch screen, dual
camera of 5mp with LED flash and 2mp front camera designed for video calls.
It also has 1GB ram
support, 3G network, 16,000,000 colours and pixel density of 401ppi, among
other interesting features.
Speaking on this
milestone, Bruno Li, the Country Manager of Infinix Nigeria, said the success
of the phone is a result of the company’s consumer-centric product development
strategy coupled with bespoke marketing ideas.
“The
Infinix brand has developed into a household name in the Nigeria’s phone
market. Though still relatively new in the country, it
has shown that with the right products and targeted marketing initiatives, a
new entrant can make significant impact within a short period of time. We are

Not
resting on its oars, Infinix Mobility, following in its tradition of meeting
needs in the market, will soon launch a new smart phone product which has the
potential of surpassing the Infinix Hot success story;#thenexthero will be unveiled soon on 4th June launch event
at the University of Lagos .
With
other products also making waves with huge volume sales, it won’t be long
before the Infinix brand becomes the dominant mobile phone player in the
country.
