FACULTY OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES
Position: Reader
Area of specialization: Dramatic/Performance Theories
Salary-CONUASS 06 – (N2,053,124.00 – N2,684,096.00)
Qualification/Experience:
Candidates should possess:

• A minimum of Ph.D. in the relevant fields.
• Must have at least eight (8) years experience in the University system or any comparable research institution.
• Must show academic experience through publication in recognized local and international journals.
• Must show academic leadership through postgraduate supervision and be able to attract research grant from both local and international funding agencies.
• Must be ready to lead various research groups within the department and the University as a whole.

Position: Lecturer II
Area of specialization: Non-Verbal Communication
Salary- CONUASS 03 – (N897,501.00 – N1,074,314.00)
Qualifications Required:
Candidates should possess:

• A minimum of Ph.D.in relevant fields
• Faculty of Engineering accepts Master’s Degree (minimum of second class upper).
• Apart from teaching and research works, candidates with Master’s Degree must qualify for a Ph.D. programme.

Position: Assistant: Lecturer
Area of specialization: Theatre Management/Dramaturgy
Salary CONUASS 02 – (N794.260.00 – N957,402.00)
Qualification:
Candidates for the post of Assistant Lecturer should possess the following qualification:

• A good honours degree from a recognized University and a Master’s degree In the appropriate field.
• Apart from teaching and research works, candidates must qualify for a Ph.D. programme.
• Ability for research and practical competence In area of specialization will be an advantage
• Candidates should be computer literate and must have registered for a Ph.D. programme.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies.

Position: Assistant Librarian
Area of specialization: Library and Information Science
Salary – CONUASS 01 – (N694,992 – N794,247.00)
Qualification:

• Candidates for the post of Assistant Librarian must possess a bachelor’s degree In Library and Information Science (BLIS) with a minimum of second class honours (upper division) from a recognized University.
